Hourly HR Consulting
Often issues come up and you need to talk with an HR professional before acting. we am offering you a way to have affordable HR assistance and, at the same time, get to know us better so you will feel comfortable calling on us when you have HR issues. Our hourly HR consulting is used by businesses that need answers or consulting infrequently. There is a one-hour minimum for each event.
HR Compliance Program
HR Jungle’s Compliance Program helps protect your company by ensuring you have the paperwork in place that’s legally required for a company your size. Compliance is the black and white part of HR… either you’re in compliance or you’re not.
- HR forms – The government has a number of forms you are required to give new employees and terminating employees. In addition, there are a variety of forms your business may want or need to protect your company, such as the make-up time form, leave of absence form, performance management documentation, etc.
- Personnel files – How and where you keep your employee documentation is very important. You want to ensure you are filing paperwork in a way that won’t be problematic for your company if you are audited or needing to fulfill a legal requirement.
- Employee Handbook – While you are not legally required to have an actual Employee Handbook, you are required to have several policies in writing. A Handbook is the best way to ensure you have provided each employee with the same message and documentation, including the rules specific to your business so there are no misunderstandings.
- Emergency Action Plan – OSHA requires businesses of all sizes to have an Emergency Action Plan that tells employees what to do in the case of an emergency.
- Injury & Illness Prevention Plan – Cal-OSHA requires every business to have an Injury & Illness Prevention Plan (and training) to prevent workplace accidents.

HR Jungle’s Management Program is your proactive solution.
- Supervisory Training – Training can teach you how to hire better employees, be a better manager and have your employees do more of the work, be more productive and grow your business … and, if they don’t work out, how to let them go with dignity and minimize your exposure. Our HR training is provided through a monthly series of one-hour webinars. Each presentation covers a specific HR-related area such as Pre-Hiring Considerations, Interviewing, or Performance Management.
- Unlimited On-Call HR Consulting – Even the best managers need HR advice on issues that will inevitably arise because you are dealing with people who all have their own individual motivations, limitations, and troubles. HR Jungle will be your on-call HR consultant, with unlimited consulting by phone or email (9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday).
- Outside Contact Point – Not only will you have the ability to contact us, but so will your employees. Rather than having an employee call the Labor Board or an attorney with a question or problem they don’t want to bring to you, we’ll let them know they can call HR Jungle instead. This way we have a better chance of fixing problems before they escalate out of our control.
- Resource Network – HR Jungle’s network includes businesses that provide services to small businesses. These are businesses we do or will use as the need arises. So, if you’re looking for a referral for any services, just ask!
- Review Meetings – It’s important that we keep an eye on things so every quarter we’ll meet or talk (depending on location) to review where you are with any goals or projects and what may need to be scheduled or changed to keep things on track.
- Access to HR Jungle’s Forms Library – HR Jungle has an extensive online library of various HR forms for your use. Your logo can be added and they can even be completed online before printing.
Even though we’re looking for clients to work with us on a long-term basis, we don’t lock you into any type of long-term contract. Our Management Program is month-to-month because we want you to stay with us simply because you feel you are getting value from our program.
